2019/20: Urs Zollinger lead independent UNIDO evaluation of the Programme for Country Partnership (PCP) in Ethiopia (2015-2019)
In this evaluation mandated by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) we concluded that the huge agro-industrial parks in Ethiopia have a good chance to transform the entire agro-based economy in the country and to create tens if not hundreds of thousands of jobs in rural areas while at the same time transforming the small-holder farming in the country by linking them to the agro-industrial parks. The PCP is a multi-stakeholder approach to accelerate inclusive and sustainable industrial development (SDG 9).
