In 2006, SDC asked us to support its efforts to elaborate institutional guidelines on disaster risk reduction. Apart from providing conceptual and general development policy advice, King Zollinger was responsible for incorporating multilateral dimensions. The SDC Guidelines on Disaster Risk Reduction were published in 2007. Subsequently, King Zollinger was also asked to summarize the International Strategy for Disaster Reduction (ISDR) and the Global Facility for Disaster Reduction and Recovery of the World Bank.
