2021: Urs Zollinger led a three-person team in evaluating - at mid-point - UNIDO’s Global Eco-Industrial Parks Programme (GEIPP)
The objective of the GEIPP is to demonstrate the viability and benefits of the eco-industrial park approach in scaling up resource productivity and improving economic, environmental and social performances of businesses. The GEIPP has activities in Colombia, Egypt, Indonesia, Peru, South Africa, Ukraine and Vietnam and is funded by the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs SECO. Urs had the overall responsibility for methodology, data collection/analysis and for delivery of inception and evaluation reports. Given the travel restriction due to Covid-19, the team had to make full use of online tools for primary data collection.
