2011/2012: As Senior Programme Evaluation Specialist, Urs Zollinger participated in this UN General Assembly mandated evaluation
This evaluation, managed by the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN-DESA), assessed the contribution and value added of the Delivering as One approach and drew lessons that are significant for the UN system as a whole. The United Nations launched the Delivering as One initiative in 2007 - within the overall process of UN reform - to test how the UN family can provide development assistance at the country level in a more coherent, effective and efficient way. Eight countries volunteered to pilot the Delivering as One approach: Albania, Cape Verde, Mozambique, Pakistan, Rwanda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Uruguay and Viet Nam. The evaluation presented its findings and lessons to ECOSOC in July 2012. Contact: Urs Zollinger
